Every student deserves the opportunity to explore their potential in their first language. Through Francophone Futures, JA Northern Eastern Ontario is expanding our flagship programs to deliver real-world business and career experiences to French-speaking youth.
Hands-On Learning: Real-world skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career planning.
Cultural Connection: Mentorship from local Francophone professionals and business leaders.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Delivered in partnership with JA Quebec to ensure authentic, high-quality French programming along the Ontario–Quebec corridor.
Our Programs
What it is: High school students launch and run a real business over several weeks, guided by bilingual industry mentors.
Impact: 5 cohorts reaching 100 students in 2025–2026.
Company Programs
What it is: Fast-paced, interactive career panels where students connect directly with Francophone professionals to explore diverse career paths.
Impact: 2 sessions reaching 150 students in 2025–2026.
